My mother has always hoped to go to Yunnan for a walk. This time I swam from Xishuangbanna to Lijiang, which is considered to have fulfilled the wish of the old man. This year just happened to encounter the epidemic, and it is rare to experience a deserted Lijiang. This trip started by self-driving on January 18 and returned on February 2. It took 16 days to visit Jianshui, Jinghong (Xishuangbanna), Anning, Lijiang, and Beihai.

Jianshui Ancient City

The ancient city of Jianshui was built in Nanzhao, and it was originally an earthen city. In the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt into a brick city in the Ming Dynasty. There are four gates in the city. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the three buildings in the south, west and north were destroyed by war, and only the east gate building and the Chaoyang Building remained, which have been built for more than 600 years.

Although we set off a few days earlier before the Spring Festival, we still underestimated the congestion during the Spring Festival. We set off in the early morning and arrived at Jianshui at almost 8 o'clock in the evening. The entire ancient city is still in a semi-developed state. Cars can drive directly into the ancient city. When we entered, we saw that gates had been installed at the entrances of the ancient city. It is estimated that next year they will not be able to drive directly in. The inn we booked is located in the ancient city, behind the test shed of the Academy. The parking lot is about 200 meters away from the inn, but temporary parking is available on the roadside of the inn, so it is convenient to carry luggage. The owner of the inn was very enthusiastic, he moved our luggage for us, and also helped us book the Jianshui small train ticket for the next afternoon.

Wake up early the next morning, the weather is good, hurry up and fly around first, the middle of the picture above is Dongcheng Building Chaoyang Building.

There are stairs on both sides of the back of Chaoyang Tower to go up to the city tower. Although only the city tower remains, the city wall is said to have been demolished by the villagers to build houses, but it is still quite spectacular.

When you come to Yunnan, of course you have to eat rice noodles, especially Jianshui’s unique grass bud rice noodles. Although it is a wild vegetable, the grass sprouts are quite picky about the temperature and water quality. Even in Jianshui where the cultivation conditions are met, it is said that only four or five villages and towns can be cultivated. In addition, grass sprouts must be soaked in water since they are collected, and can only be taken out when cooking, otherwise they will turn green and become old and cannot be eaten. Therefore, it can only be eaten in Jianshui. The grass sprouts are crisp, tender and refreshing, with a fresh and sweet aftertaste, and the price is close to the people. It is rare to come across it, so naturally you have to eat it several times.

After breakfast, we set off to Jianshui Confucian Temple, the first stop of this journey.

Jianshui Confucian Temple

Jianshui Confucian Temple, built in the Yuan Dynasty to the 22nd year of the Yuan Dynasty, has a history of more than 700 years, second only to the Confucian Temple in Qufu, Shandong. When the two divine beasts come together, of course they must be well-educated, study hard, and make progress every day.

The Confucian Temple is finished in half a day. The ancient city is actually not big. It takes about half an hour to walk from the Confucian Temple to the small train station, because we booked the ticket at 2:30 in the afternoon. It is just right to walk over after watching the Confucian Temple.

Jianshui Ancient Town Train

The Jianshui train is built on the basis of China's first private railway, the meter-gauge railway, which was independently funded by the people of Yunnan. The meter-gauge railway is an important industrial heritage in China and a "living fossil" of the world's meter-gauge railway. The small train currently has four stations: Lin'an Station, Shuanglongqiao Station, Xianghuiqiao Station and Tuanshan Station. There are only 2 round trips from Lin'an every day, one in the morning and one at noon. Friends who want to take the small train must book in advance. Everyone will be given a bottle of water and a snack when getting on the bus, so you can fill your stomach on the way. Every stop will have a farmer who buys strawberries. A big bag costs 10 yuan, which is much larger than the ones bought in Dali Ancient City. They are big and delicious.

Starting from Lin'an, each stop is a small scenic spot. The two stops at Shuanglong Bridge and Xianghui Bridge are about half an hour. The stop at Tuanshan Station will be longer. Shuanglong Bridge is a small scenic spot, and Tuanshan is an ancient village. However, the old station of Xianghui Bridge is quite good for taking pictures. We took a good photo of a group of small trains while other people were watching the scenic spots.

Zhu's Garden

On the second day, continuing the itinerary, we came to Zhu's Garden. The Zhu Family Garden is the home and ancestral hall built by the wealthy gentry Zhu Weiqing and his brothers in the late Qing Dynasty. Zhu Chaoying, one of the heads of the Zhu family, was awarded the rank of Lieutenant General after participating in the Lin'an Uprising of the 1911 Revolution, also known as the General. The Zhu family's house is three sets of courtyards with three entrances, side by side. Although it is not like the small bridges, flowing water and winding paths in Jiangnan gardens, the Fengshui is also very good, and people feel very comfortable staying in it. In addition to visiting the house, there is also an exhibition hall introducing the rise and fall of the Zhu family over the past century, which is very embarrassing.

Follow the rules and be careful in what you say and do.

The well water in the house is still very clear, and the children also come to experience the feeling of drawing water from the well.

After the visit, we headed straight to Jinghong City (Xishuangbanna). After reading the guide on the Internet, we found that the hotel we booked was in Gaozhuang. When we arrived, we realized that this decision was extremely wise. It is much more convenient to eat, live and play there than in the urban area.

Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park

On the first day in Jinghong, we first went to the Primitive Forest Park. There are actually two attractions at the entrance of the Primitive Forest Park, one is the Primitive Forest Park and the other is the Sea World. It was a working day, and I thought there would be fewer people. I didn’t book tickets online in advance. I didn’t expect to go to the door, and there was a long queue on both sides to buy tickets. In addition, there is a jungle leap project, which is in the primeval forest. You can buy the jungle leap package without queuing up. In order to save time, I decisively bought two children's tickets and booked the adults' tickets by the way. The mountain road inside is quite long. If you play for a day, you can walk up the mountain directly. If you only plan to play for half a day, it is better to buy a battery ticket.

Entering the forest park, the first stop is the Peacock Square, where there are peacock performances and feeding activities.

The second stop is Aini village. The Aini people are a branch of the Hani people. The Hani people in Xishuangbanna call themselves Aini. The second largest minority. Crossing the suspension bridge full of wishes, with those good wishes, we arrived at the Aini village. When the number of tourists reaches a certain number, there will be dancers leading everyone to dance folk dances and bamboo pole dances. There are also traditional Hani dwellings in the village, which display some daily necessities of the Hani people.

When we left Ai Ni Village, we were about to go to the next stop, the Jungle Leap. On the way up the mountain, some horses and alpacas were locked in the fence. At that time, we rushed up to take a few photos. Later, we found out that we were going to collect Money. There are ziplines and rope nets in the jungle leap, and the children had a great time, but the sliding distance of each section is a bit short and not exciting enough.

Leaping out of the jungle, there is a bird performance venue not far away, and the performance is quite satisfactory. It costs 20 yuan to take pictures with the parrot. The child picks up the parrot and the breeder will guide the parrot to make moves. I use my camera to take pictures than parks. It is much better .

After watching the performance, it was almost time. I heard that the Starlight Night Market in Gaozhuang is very famous. We went back to the hotel and prepared to visit the night market at night.

Mekong Starlight Night Market

Walking to the right side of the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple, you can see the entrance of the Xingguang Night Market, with barbecue stalls on both sides, where fresh ingredients are neatly arranged together, which whets the appetite.

Walking in tens of meters, I saw a Laos self-service hot pot, which was said to have been on CCTV, so I immediately decided to give it a try. Laos hot pot is very interesting. First, put a large pile of fat meat on the top. After the oil is roasted, use chopsticks to pick up the fat meat and spread it all over the whole body of the "bao". As well as sliced melons and fruits, etc., they are pasted on the "bag" and roasted in turn, and then in the boiling water of the "ring", rinse the vegetables and tofu first...

In addition, if you add some money, the store will also add a small charcoal stove, which is just used for oysters and shells.

If you are full of food and drink, of course, continue to visit the night market. The night market is open until late, and there are many shops, but the homogeneity is serious, but you can still find some special shops after careful exploration.

The Shwedagon Pagoda Temple in the middle is located on a high place on the river bank. Walking up the Shwedagon Pagoda, you can see the panorama of the night market.

Shwedagon Pagoda

The hotel I stayed in was right next to the Shwedagon Pagoda. The next morning, when there were not many tourists, I took out the DJI and flew around first. It is a pity that the front square of the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple happens to be the no-fly zone of the airport, so we can only take pictures on the left side of the temple, and we cannot get the best angle.

The Jinghong Shwedagon Pagoda, also known as the Myanmar Shwedagon Pagoda, is located next to the roundabout of the Jiangbei section of Xuanwei Avenue, Cangjiang New District, Jinghong City. (The core location in Gaozhuang Xishuangjing Scenic Area) The Jinghong Shwedagon Pagoda is 66.6 meters high, implying that one river connects six countries. Among them, the four small towers are solid towers, and the big tower is the Bayeux Museum. There are two floors of usable space. There are four entrances in the east, west, north, south, and Zhou Buddha is enshrined around the central tower for tourists to pray for blessings.

Manting Park Lancang Mekong Night Song and Dance Bonfire Party

The night before, we bought VIP tickets for the Mekong Night Song and Dance Bonfire Party on Ctrip. Although VIP tickets are more expensive than ordinary tickets, they are still worth the money. First, the location of VIP tickets is quite good. Our tickets are in the fifth In the middle of the row, I feel that there is not much difference from the most expensive ticket; second, you can enter Manting Park after 4 pm with VIP tickets, which saves the tickets for Manting Park; third, the buffet provided by VIP tickets at night is more than ordinary Tickets are much better. There is a special restaurant for the VIP buffet. Seats are arranged according to the number of people when buying tickets. There are not too many people eating, and the variety is also very rich. When we went to eat, we saw the long line of people queuing up to eat with general tickets next to us, and instantly felt that the ticket price was worth it.

The singing and dancing party in the evening is mainly composed of dances from various ethnic groups. The lighting of the stage costumes is quite good. At the last bonfire night, everyone danced around the bonfire, which was also a very good experience. In the next two days, the situation of the epidemic began to be taken seriously, and such activities were also stopped, and we were lucky to still be able to see it.

Xishuangbanna Dai Nationality Park

After a night's rest, continue to visit the Dai Nationality Park. When I arrived at the parking lot at the gate, I parked the car and bought tickets to go in. I didn't feel like entering a scenic spot, just like entering an ordinary village. The Dai Nationality Park is a scenic spot surrounded by several Dai ethnic villages. There are still villagers living normally in it, and the locals on the township roads connecting various scenic spots can enter and exit normally. We didn't buy a battery ticket at the beginning. After walking about 100 meters, there was a row of shops. There was a girl who said that if we had dinner at her house, he would let us drive in our own car without having to buy a new ticket. After looking at it, it was almost time for dinner, so I agreed to her. Later, after we went in, we found that there were many homestays in the village, and many foreign cars were parked inside. If you are driving by yourself, you can find these soliciting villagers near the entrance of the scenic spot, so that you can save money on buying battery tickets and it is more convenient. First, I went to eat at the restaurant run by my sister’s house. The dishes are also available, and the price is very reasonable, which is about the same as the price in the urban area.

Before the water-splashing activity begins, the headman of the cottage will perform a blessing ceremony for everyone.

Xishuangbanna is located in the tropics. There was no cold air going south in the past few days when we came, and the weather was still quite hot. It was barely possible to participate in water splashing activities. The kids are going crazy at the end of the game, but there is not enough electric wind to blow their hair at the end. If you want to play this season, you must prepare a change of clothes and towels to avoid catching cold.

After the water-splashing activity, we walked about 100 meters and started to watch the song and dance performance. However, after seeing the performance of Mekong Night yesterday, the performance here feels very ordinary.

After watching the performance, we turned to the last stop, Menghanman, to listen to the pagoda temple. The Manting Buddhist Pagoda Temple was first built in 538 A.D. by the local chieftain Kunguan Kanghan and Yanwen. It has a history of more than 1,400 years. The Dabai Pagoda in the temple was first built in 669 AD. The Tabao tree in the garden has always been regarded by the Dai people as a sacred tree. It is said that when the Buddha Sakyamuni went to Menghan to teach scriptures, he sat under this tree for seven days and seven nights, facing the torrential water of the Lancang River, thinking deeply and enlightening the Tao. .

Although this temple is not as majestic as the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple, it has a sense of historical precipitation.

Xishuangbanna Tropical Zoo

Before I knew it, it was the last day in Xishuangbanna. I got up in the morning and went to the tropical zoo first. The zoo is located in the National Customs Garden, which is free and open, and you need to buy another ticket to enter the zoo. This should be a relatively small scenic spot. The area is not too big. Although the sparrows are small and complete, the advantage is that there are few people. You can interact with animals at close range. After playing for half a day, it feels pretty good.

Entering the Ethnic Customs Garden is the Liberation Monument. It turns out that this is also Jinghong's party history and party spirit education base. It is not far to walk around the monument, which is the entrance of the zoo, and the tickets are also bought next to the entrance.

The big mouth of the hippopotamus is different from other zoos. The hippopotamus here is not afraid of tourists at all, and will take the initiative to open its mouth and let you feed it.

I have never tried to see a raccoon so close, so cute.

The design of feeding the giraffes here is very reasonable, and the giraffes don't have to bend down to eat the food we feed.

There are also animal performances in the zoo, and the elephants are fed at the end of the performance.

After coming out of the zoo, we ate something casually and continued our next stop.

Chinese Academy of Sciences Tropical Botanical Garden

The Tropical Botanical Garden is quite far from Jinghong City. It takes about 1 hour to drive from Jinghong City. The park is very large and divided into two areas. If you are in a hurry or have poor physical strength, it is recommended to buy a battery car in the park. ticket. There are a lot of things to see in the park. If you stroll slowly, you can play for a day. It can be said that we are the most worthwhile scenic spot in Jinghong, and the wall is recommended. The west area is dominated by various ornamental botanical gardens, which are highly visible. The green stone forest in the eastern area is actually a virgin forest growing on the karst landform. For those of us who grew up in the south, it is not very special, just think of it as hiking in a big oxygen bar.

There is a robot selling ice cream at the entrance of the strange flowers and flowers garden, which is very interesting, and the ice cream sold is quite delicious.

Not far from the Orchid Garden, you will see a pond, which is a good place to take beautiful photos

When I left by the battery car, it was the best time to take pictures in the afternoon. I happened to see a beautiful flower and bamboo forest where I got off the car, so I took the time to take a few photos.

Coming out of the botanical garden, we started to rush to Kunming Anning non-stop. It was New Year's Eve, and we drove all the way at night. Starting from 8 o'clock, fireworks were set off everywhere around the road. It was so beautiful and a rare feeling. The high speed from Jinghong to Kunming is not easy to drive. There are many bends and tunnels. It is also the first time I encountered a hairpin bend on the high speed. Students who like drag racing will definitely have a great time driving. The only thing to eat on this journey A ticket is the trick in this section of the road.

It must have been after 12 o'clock in the middle of the night when we arrived at Anning and exited the expressway. At this time, there was a checkpoint for temperature detection at the exit of the expressway, but because it was too late, no one checked when we exited the expressway.

Anning Jinfang Forest Hot Spring

I chose Anning, Kunming as a transfer point because there is a hot spring area here, which can be reached in more than 10 minutes after getting off the expressway, which is just the end point for rest.

Jinfang Forest Hot Spring is a relatively new hot spring here. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, the situation has become increasingly severe. When exiting the expressway and entering the service area, you have to start registering your whereabouts, ID cards, and taking body temperature one by one. Fortunately, the hot spring was still open when we went, but it is estimated that it will not be open for a few days, which is considered lucky.

The entire hot spring is built on the mountain, and the temperature in the bottom water play area is relatively low, so I don’t dare to play in winter for fear of catching cold. The temperature of the bubble pools on the mountain is hot enough, and it is very comfortable to soak in. There are many pools with different themes and shapes. It is a good place to relax.

Since this day, the epidemic situation has become more and more serious. Our inn orders on Ctrip have been forcibly refunded. Fortunately, this is the third year we have been in Shuhe. Old customers still have inns to take us in, and we feel that It was safer to stay in Yunnan, so we continued our journey.

Reading shop service area, Lashihai service area

On the second day of the new year, continue to set off. From Anning to the highway, less than 10 kilometers away, you will pass through the Shushupu service area, because the price of gasoline in Yunnan becomes cheaper the closer it is to Kunming, so we resolutely fill up the gas here. As soon as I entered the service area, I realized that this service area was unusual. Not only was it huge in size, but a train and its tracks were directly moved into the service area. It was almost like a scenic spot. There is also a Dicos store here, where you can eat fried chicken and hamburgers for a change.

Driving all the way to Lijiang, I originally wanted to visit the Erhai Lake at a high speed under the Quse or Shuanglang. Unfortunately, due to the epidemic, all the high-speed exits that can go to the Erhai Lake have been closed, so I can only go later.

From Kunming to Lijiang, the service area on the road is actually not worse than many scenic spots. Except for the reading shop service area, fortunately, the Jianhu service area and Lashihai service area are very beautiful. The Jianhu service area is built on the edge of Jianhu Lake. In the service area, you can have a bird's-eye view of the entire Sword Lake.

The Lashihai service area is close to the exit of Dali Expressway. Only here can you take pictures of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lashihai.

Shuhe Ancient Town

We arrived at the ancient town at 5:00 in the afternoon. At this time, the scenic spot is not yet closed, and cars can still drive in. For the next few days, we can only stay here, worrying that once we go out, we will not be able to get in again. At the beginning, there were probably dozens of customers in the town, and there were restaurants open. There are fire pits, steam stone pot fish, and rice noodles, all of which are missing singers by the small river. As the days went by, by the day we left, it seemed like we were the only tourists left besides the locals and the inn staff, and there were hardly any restaurants open. Thinking back to the hustle and bustle when I came here last year, and this year I experienced a deserted Shuhe, there should be no chance to shoot this group of films in the future.

On the third day, what should be filmed has been filmed, and staying in the inn is also boring. The little brother in the inn recommended us to climb the mountain. This is a small road. You can see the whole town at the top of the mountain. Most locals will go there. In the spirit of digging deep into deep tours, we decided to take an adventure. The entrance of the small road is very inconspicuous. It is next to a residential house on the roadside of Heilongtan. Interested students can ask the locals where the entrance is. It is not a formal step road. It is difficult to find without local people’s guidance. , The mountain is not high, and you can reach the top in more than 20 minutes. There are many prayer flags on the top of the hill. It is fun to climb if the weather is good, but it is relatively steep. If the weather is bad, or the elderly and children are too young, don’t go up.

We especially recommend the Miscellaneous Vegetable Stew restaurant, which is still open during the epidemic. The exquisite environment, warm stove, and warming up and eating here on cold nights really make people stay here and don’t want to leave.

Before I knew it, it was the day when I left Lijiang, and I started to think about the return journey. I originally planned to go to Xingyi, Qianxinan, but after asking, there was no hotel to accept orders during the epidemic. There is no way, I finally booked a hotel in Beihai. I had no choice but to drive directly from Lijiang to Beihai, and I was really exhausted.

Beiwaisha Seafood Island, Haibin Road

When we arrived in Beihai, we booked a hotel on Haibin Road, which is in the middle of Old Street and Waisha Seafood Island, and is also very close to Hongsha Seafood Market. I feel that the atmosphere in Beihai is much more relaxed than that in Yunnan. Hongsha Seafood Market and seafood processing restaurants are still open.

The old street is definitely not allowed to enter, even if you enter, there are no businesses in it. You can only take beautiful photos along Waisha Seafood Island and Binhai Road.

After a day of rest, we headed home again.

Postscript: Although affected by the epidemic this time, the route planned at the beginning has basically been completed, and what should be played has also been played. If the departure is delayed by a day or two, the situation will be completely different. On the return trip, the high-speed free time will be extended. High-speed tolls are exempted throughout the journey, and luck is so good. After returning to Guangzhou, in response to the call of the country, I felt at ease as a good baby and stayed at home until I resumed work.

This travel note has been written for several days, and it is finally finished. I look forward to starting a new journey next time.
